 Pre-K
Our Pre-K program is open to students that have
turned four on or before September 1st. We continue
in our
SRA/McGraw-Hill curriculum
as we further their ongoing love for literature.
Students also become more phonetically aware of the
words around them through their exploration of
Letter People Land.
Students begin
with very simple sounds and work towards those more
complex, as they begin to understand the
relationship letters have with words. They learn to
unfold beginning, middle, and ending sounds using
them to phonetically spell out their own ideas and
feelings.
They will also learn to appreciate their
environment as they cultivate their own special
garden. Observing the way the world works, they
develop math and science skills through graphing,
charting, measuring and documenting their
observations.
